A tender participation fee of R250 is payable for each set of documents issued. Sealed tenders marked “Tender REF NR: SCM1/2021/22/’’1’’ must be placed in the tender box at the municipal offices at 1 Dirkie Uys Street, Bredasdorp, 7280 or posted to reach the municipal tender box at PO Box 51, Bredasdorp, 7280 up to 12:00 on Friday, 30 April 2021, where after the tenders will be opened. The 80/20 preferential procurement system, as stated in the Cape Agulhas Municipal Procurement Policy, will be used when considering tenders. The two-stage bidding process will be followed in evaluating this tender. Firstly, it will be evaluated in terms of the stipulated minimum threshold for local production and content and thereafter for price and preference point system. A Tax Compliance status pin, as issued by the South African Revenue Service, must be submitted together with the tender. Council reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any tender.
